ZSimpWin V3.20 includes addition of frequency labels in complex plane plots, higher flexibility in print layout, fixes of reported bugs in V3.10, and many enhancements (See Tech Note 33).  Updates from V3.10 are listed below:

bullet

Displays frequency labels on Nyquist, Admittance, and Capacitance plots (See Screenshot)

bullet

Changed "Print item selection" dialog box for higher flexibility in print layout. Allows separate selection of 2 or 4 plot styles. Prints 2 selected plot styles in Portrait orientation. Prints 4 plot styles in Landscape orientation (See Screenshot)

bullet

Created extended circuit elements for porous electrodes and diffusion problems. Additional symbols are allowed in the equivalent circuit.

bullet

Iterate Mode - Improved the performance of the User Input option. Made it easier to change the signs, values, and status of the parameters provided as rough initial guess.

bullet

Simulate Mode - Displays typical values instead of "1" for the parameters associated with an equivalent circuit at start-up.

bullet

Monitor Mode - Modified so that all the steps can be examined from beginning to end.

bullet

Extended the support of Gamry's new *.DTA format (See Tech Note 04).
Old data = "EISCURVE" in the first line.
New data = "EXPLAIN" in the first line.

bullet

Focussed (zoomed) area can be copied to Windows clipboard, saved as a plot, or sent to printer.

bullet

Displays covariance matrix. Interactions between selected two parameters can be displayed as ellipses (See Tech Note 40).

bullet

Errors can be included in a simulated data set by specifying the weighting factor and the magnitudes of the errors.

bullet

Reorganized pop-up menu.

bullet

Added [Select Image Viewer] and [View saved plot] menus. Allows users to run a external graphics program to view saved plots.

bullet

Added "Run | Convert CPEs to Capacitors" Menu.

Several bugs fixed in this version would not have been detected without the assistance of our customers.
